The Mentha arvensis is a species of mint that belongs to the family of the Lamiaceae.

It is a herbaceous plant of outstanding aroma, measures from 10 to 60 cm and has whorled flowers located in the armpit of the stems.

The leaves are oval, pointed and toothed.

This perennial plant blooms from July to September and prefers sunnier places, marshes and wet meadows
