Its active principle is called harpagósidos (0.5-1% of the dry plant), and has anti-rheumatic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and spasmolytic properties.
It has been shown to reduce inflammation and pain and improve motility in arthritis, arthrosis, rheumatism and sciatica. For this reason, it is very useful in all types of rheumatic processes, arthritic, inflammations in general and digestive disorders.
